To be really honest with you. I am a huge apple fan, and I have used so far all of their products. When apple first released the ipad, I thought it was not going to be a big hit just because it had nothing new in it. It was simply an ipod with a bigger screen, but boy was I wrong! Apple sold more ipads than MacBooks and ipods so far. They have sold more than 2,000,000 ipads in less than 60 days after they released it. Even LG that provides them with displays could not keep up with their high demands. I was not really sure at first why would people buy the ipad, but then I realized after I used it for almost a week that I was wrong. It was not just an ipod with a bigger screen. When I used it I felt that I had more grip and more control over the web. Surfing the web using the ipad is fun but you will get bored in few days if you buy it just for surfing. So tried to think of cool ways to use the ipad, and there are plenty of cool stuff to do with the ipad. First, I enjoyed reading on the ipad. It has a nice display and it gives you the ability to search mark or take notes on it while reading. Unfotunnltely though, it turns out that you will take more time reading a book on it as opposed to a real book. Second cool thing is playing games. Playing on the ipad is quite different than the ipod and the iphone. The big screen makes it a lot more fun. Third is surfing the web which I talked about earlier. The fourth cool thing is watching movies on the go. The screen is simply beautiful and makes everything so much fun. I loved watching stuff on the ipad.
Now I am still waiting for the next gen of the ipad because it will have more features and it will support multitasking which is pretty amazing. I think it would really be useful if the next gen adopts the idea of "ten one" which simply lets the ipad recognizes the thickness of your touch on the screen which allow us to used stylus to write or rake notes on the ipad. This could be pretty useful for students.
